   Assalamualaikum and Salam Ramadhan everyone. How about your fasting? Okay, actually due date for this blog is just around the corner. That is mean Hari Raya Aidilfitri also just around the corner. Did you all have done preparation for this coming Raya? How about your baju raya, kuih raya and etc? As a student of KMKN the best moment along Ramadhan in KMKN is when we were having iftar together... Wow! maybe this is the last moment that we can get in KMKN.



   For this post, we want to talk about "Love of Food". Did you all know what kind of food is most famous along Syawal? We are pretty sure that you know it well. The food is beef rendang.There are many others food that will be served during Hari Raya but this is the most favourite traditional food for Malaysian.Surely, students that have study oversea will be miss their mom cook for this Hari Raya. Especially this beef rendang. Don't worry, for this post we will show you how to make the superb beef rendang. Here's your step-by-step guide to make it.

This is the cooking stage.

First let's check it out what are the ingredient that are needed :

• 1 onion, peeled
• 75g fresh ginger, peeled
• 8 cloves garlic, peeled
• 3 lemongrass stalks, outer leaves removed and top & tailed trimmed
• 5 red chillies, stalk & seeds removed
• 1 tsp of each: ground tumeric, corriander, cumin
• 2 tsp ground cinnamon

• 1 tbsp sunflower oil
• 1 kilo of lean chuck steak or beef shin, diced into 2cm pieces
• 400ml coconut milk
• 600ml water
• 1 tbsp dark brown sugar
• Juice & zest of 1 lime (or replace the zest with 4 kaffier lime leaves)
• 2 tbsp desiccated coconut, toasted in a hot pan (optional)

• Basmati rice
• Fresh green steamed vegetables
• Chopped chilli, fresh coriander, toasted desiccated coconut to garnish (optional)

1. Place all the ingredients for the beef rendang paste in a food processor and blitz until smooth.
2. Heat the sunflower oil in a large saucepan and add the rendang paste. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes until it's reduced a little and darkened.
3. Add the diced beef and brown over a high heat stiring constatly until it's brown all over and well coated with the paste.
4. Add the coconut milk, water, lime and sugar. Still very well and bring to the boil, then turn the heat down to a gentle simmer.
5. Simmer gently for three hours uncovered until the meat is soft and the sauce is thick and dark. Stir regularly to prevent the sauce from catching at the bottom of the pan. The last hour is most crucial as the sauce will be much thicker and is more likely to catch, so don't stray too far from it.
6. When the sauce is thickened to your liking and the meat is soft and tender, stir through the coconut (if using) and turn off the heat.
7. If you like, garnish with chilli, fresh coriander and some extra toasted coconut. Serve with rice and some steamed green vegetables.

Today most of SPT's students had leave KMKN and went back home.. yuhuuu .. well our holiday had start and for SPC and Matriculation students, it is okey because next week is your turn to go back home. :) Today I would like to share something that very hot issue since last night. About MH17..


Just after 132 days, no one expect that another crash that involve Malaysia Airline. Before MH370 is involving, but now is MH17. My deepest condolences goes to family and friends that were been in the aeroplane. Actually the terrorists want to shoot aeroplane that bring Russian's Presidential. I don't really sure about what happen between them, I mean what crisis are they facing now. But as a Malaysian lets just pray for all the crew and passenger on the cabin will be accept by Allah since this is the best month, Ramadhan. Maybe there is a reason why Allah make this crash happen . Maybe Allah wants to give us kifarah, so that we will taubat and back to Him. Allah know what the best for us. And don't forget to pray for Gaza,Palestin. They still need our help even not a directly help to them at least make a pray for them. oke I think that's all for now. Assalamualaikum and a very good morning everyone.... wwwweeee.. today is weekend so I can have enough rest today .. ops sorry I forget to told that Friday is a holiday for Kedah since now I am studying at Kuala Nerang, Kedah.. by the way today I want to share a story about love towards animal. I think most of us know story about Hero, a cat that had been cut off his hand.

This story was happened in Malaysia. In the year 2005, a poor,pity cat stole fish from a non-muslim restaurant and the owner of that restaurant had cut off his two front legs. Can you imagine how to walk with just two legs out of four? If we in his shoes, how you feel to walk with just one leg without any help. But Allah had help the cat when he met with a couple, Maria and Harey. They found the cat and took him home. They took a very good care of him, adopted him and also taught him how to walk in two paws only. They called him "HERO" and they cared Hero like their own child. Although Mr. Harey had others cat but he never ignore or forget his responsibility towards Hero

But on 1st December 2013, Hero dead because of leukemia. His father was crying when he know that but he believe that Allah had sent Hero to this world to remind us that we need to take a very good care relationship not just between human but also animal.




Assalamualaikum and a very good evening to my readers and not forget to my silent readers. Well I know you there.. hahaha \just kidding/.. okey today I just want to share a big issue I really mean it .. A very very BIG issue in this world but maybe some of us just hear about that and just think that it is not my responsibilities. Well it is about Gaza and Palestine that have been attack by Israel Laknatullah since late 19th century . It is so sad to see the children, women and men there couldn't even enjoy their life.

When you see about this picture what do you think? What do you feel? Can you imagine if one of your family members are walking around collapsed building. It is not a good surrounding for a child to grow up. We can't stop pray for Gaza and Palestine and we must always banned all branded from Israel Laknatullah in order to support our Muslims' Brothers and Sisters there.

before I end my post today I would like you to hear this song and please I'm begging for all of you to "wake up" and gain our awareness about this. We can't just sit and see while some of our Muslim's members there having a very difficult situation. Sound of bomb, scream and weapon are just like a background music in their life. Its all for now.
